Check out this audio visual project published in the Calgary Herald on May 2, 2013, which was done by first year SAIT photojournalism student Sarah Collins. Collins provides an interesting visual glimpse into a unique arts project in Calgary which allows emerging artists to utilize an entire building, that is scheduled for demolition, as a creative canvas for their various art works. Walk for Thomas

The Walk for Thomas is a fundraising effort for kids afflicted with Neuroblastoma, a very rare form of cancer. SAIT Photojournalism alumni, Chantelle Kolesnik, photographed, edited and produced this very emotional piece about the efforts of those wanting to raise funds in memory of Thomas.

Applications for the New York Portfolio Review
